This is a compilation of fashion-related works by Zoya Hasib, aligning with the latest trends and styles. This includes originally designed garments along with works of styling for ad campaigns and costuming for short films.
WHAT I DO
CONCEPTUALIZE
I find it essential to put in the time and research into each collection before I design. Once I have the knowledge I can start forming my concept and purpose for the collection.
DESIGN
With my gained knowledge and concept I can now go ahead and start experimenting to come up with new and innovative designs. Sketching and draping are both a big part of my design process.
CONSTRUCT
Now it’s time to bring the ideas to life. This starts with making Flats and tech packs for each garment which is followed by patterning, sewing, and adding the finishing touches.

WHO I AM
ZOYA HASIB COLAHAN
Zoya Hasib Colahan is a womenswear Fashion Designer, with experience in Trend Forecasting, Designing, Draping, Paper Patterning, Gerber Patterning, Illustration, CAD Design, Construction, Embroidery, Embellishing, and Sewing. Her multi-cultural background inspires her every day, growing up in India, going to college in the US, and studying abroad in France gave her global exposure which reflects in her designs.

Zoya is fueled by her passion for creating new and innovative designs. She graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design, with honors in B.F.A. Fashion Design. She considers herself a 'forever student', eager to build on her academic foundations and stay in tune with all the latest trends and digital design platforms like Gerber Patternmaking and Clo 3D.

Her passion and determination for fashion have contributed to her most recent success, as the show opening apparel designer (in collaboration with Jacqui Co. shoes) at the Fall/Winter Kansas City Fashion Week 2020.
​
She has also grown as a designer while working for label brands from Los Angeles and Kansas where she creates new designs, tech packs, samples every day and also stays in communication with manufacturing companies on upcoming projects. Zoya believes work-life balance is key to success, a tenet she lives out through her interests in dancing, traveling, reading, and spending quality time with loved ones.
